Not all ETF screener filters are equally important. Here are the filters that matter most for different investor types:
Filter by expense ratio (set max 0.10% for index ETFs) and AUM (higher = more liquid, tighter spreads). These two filters alone eliminate 80% of overpriced ETFs.
Filter by dividend yield, distribution frequency (monthly payers are popular), and payout consistency. Look for ETFs with 5+ years of consistent distributions.
